Need: A processing plant needed new spouting and transitions to route product between equipment on different levels.
Scope: Shop fabrication of the spouts, transitions and a two-way diverter, then on-site installation and tie-in to the existing equipment.
Outcome: Installed and tied in during the planned outage.

Access Platform and Stairs

Need: Operators needed safe access to equipment that could only be reached by ladder.
Scope: Fabrication and installation of a steel access platform with stairs and handrails.
Outcome: Safe, permanent access for daily maintenance.

Structural Steel Fabrication

Need: A facility expansion required structural steel fabricated to the engineer's drawings.
Scope: Cutting, forming and welding of structural members in our shop, delivered for installation.
Outcome: Steel delivered ready for erection.

Process plant utilities

Boiler Change-Out

Need: A plant needed an aging packaged boiler taken out and its replacement set, inside a tight yard next to live utilities.
Scope: Disconnect and removal of the old unit, crane lift and setting of the new boiler, piping and utility tie-ins.
Outcome: New boiler set and tied in, steam back on for production.

Oilseed processing

Process Vessel Installation

Need: A large stainless process vessel had to go into an existing building through a wall opening.
Scope: Rigging plan, two-crane lift, skidding the vessel into position, setting, leveling and anchoring.
Outcome: Vessel set on its supports and ready for piping.

Ethanol

Pump and Process Piping Installation

Need: A plant expansion added a new pump station and large-bore stainless piping on new foundations.
Scope: Concrete pads and containment, pump setting and alignment, fit-up and welding of flanged stainless spools.
Outcome: Pump station installed, aligned and ready for start-up.
